In 2018, Weihai Desheng Sporting Goods Co Ltd was established in Weihai. As a small factory focusing on the production of plunge nets, with the love of the fishing tackle industry and the initial intention of “doing every product well”, we introduced basic production equipment, set up a technical team, and started from the production of basic models of plunge nets, which opened the way of entrepreneurship in the field of fishing tackle. 

In 2019, we tried to improve on our products by combining the feedback from fishing enthusiasts, optimizing the structure of the mesh pocket, and launching a new plunge net that is not easy to hang up the line. In the same year, with the good reputation by word of mouth, we established cooperation with several fishing tackle stores in the neighborhood and gradually opened local sales channels. In order to improve the production efficiency, we adjusted the workshop layout and added a simple production line.

In 2020, the Xin Guan epidemic disrupted the original development rhythm, with unstable raw material supply and limited logistics and transportation. In order to cope with the difficulties, we actively communicate with local suppliers to ensure that the basic materials are constantly supplied; at the same time, we try to promote our products through online platforms. Although the process is difficult, we have gained a number of new customers by virtue of the product's practicability and cost-effective, and we have gained a firm foothold in the face of adversity. 

In 2021, with the market gradually picking up, we expanded our plant in Beijiangtong Village, Yangting Town, Huanjui District, Weihai, and added a number of production equipment to increase our production capacity, which is able to satisfy the scale of producing goods to fill up two 40-foot containers per year. Although there is still a gap between us and the big factories, we have more confidence in stabilizing the supply.

From 2022 to 2023, we will continue to diversify our product range and introduce suitable nets for different fishing scenarios, ranging from small nets commonly used in freshwater fishing to large and sturdy nets required for sea fishing, so as to meet the diversified needs of our customers. At the same time, we have also started to undertake some small-volume customized orders to provide personalized services to customers, and our cooperation with customers has gradually expanded from domestic to overseas small fishing tackle dealers. 

In 2024, we still insist on the quality of our products, and at the same time, we pay attention to the environmental protection trend in the industry, and try to use more durable and environmentally friendly materials to make the mesh pockets. We know that as a small factory, service is the foundation, so we keep optimizing the after-sales response speed, hoping to bring better cooperation experience to our customers. In the future, Weihai Desheng Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. will continue to keep our feet on the ground, polish our products with craftsmanship, go forward hand in hand with every partner who trusts us, and strive to shine in the fishing gear industry.
